Today we're going to do an advance review of Best Treehouse Ever, a game from two of our favorite folks in the gaming industry: Jason Kotarski, the Big Wig over at Green Couch Games, and Scott Almes, designer of the Tiny Epic series.

Best Treehouse Ever is a card-drafting filler game for 2-4 players that plays in that sweet spot of about 20 minutes, which is exactly the comfy spot that Kotarski wants each of his pub's games to sit in on that big Green Couch.

News: Classic Kramer/Kiesling 'Mask Trilogy' Will Get a Reprint

In my early days of this great hobby, I played Tikal--a game about exploring Central America, and looking for lost temples and treasures. It was part of a trilogy of games that Ravensburger dubbed the Mask Trilogy--connected by a similar mechanism of using Action Points to do things that score you VPs. The games have been in and out of print over the years, but it looks like they're on their way in, thanks to a new publisher called Super Meeple.

Far Space Foundry - Justin Shaffer/Terra Nova Games

Far Space Foundry is a strategic board game for up to four players with a solo version thrown in there as well! You'll be snagging resources from asteroids, refining them and then manufacturing goods. Far Space Foundry is designed by Dan Manfredini and looks like a really slick -and nice to look at- Euro, they're well on their way to funding and have some nice stretch goals in place as well. This is definitely worth a look!
