More and more, tabletop gaming and electronic innovation are colliding, in an attempt to create a new niche in the tabletop gaming market.
And that brings us to today's preview: Boogie Dice, along with the game Bots Battleground, both currently on Kickstarter...
Boogie Dice are--get this--self-rolling dice! They're activated by loud sounds (snapping fingers or clapping hands), and Bots Battleground is the first game designed to take advantage of this new technology.
So what did I (Jeremiah) think of this new contrivance? Best keep reading to find out!Read More
Welcome to the second week of Spring. Let's jump right in and see what's happening over on Kickstarter!
Posthuman - Mr. B Games
Another zombie game? Kinda. Posthuman is a survival game in which you fight against mutation in a post-apocalyptic world, fighting to stave off hunger, depression, infection, and, of course, the mindless hordes of posthuman mutants, all while trying to find a fabled fortress and the safety it brings. The game looks like an exploration game with a modular board that offers plenty of tense decisions, some teamwork with other players, and the chance to turn to the other side and start wreaking havoc on the other players.Read More

Far Space Foundry is a strategic board game for up to four players with a solo version thrown in there as well! This is definitely worth a look!Read More
Welcome to this week's installment of Kickstarter Weekly. We hope wherever you're reading from is much warmer than the blustery Midwest where I (Jeremiah) am. Our current wind-chill advisory is in the -10 to -20 range. This is what we like to call perfect board game weather! Nothing better than to pour yourself some hot chocolate, put some nice hot soup on the stove, and bundle up and sit at the table with a new board game!
With that being said, let's jump in and see what's cooking on Kickstarter!Read More
"I am Groot."
-Guardians of the Galaxy
Today we get to take a look at the latest title in the Tiny Epic series: Tiny Epic Galaxies. TEG follows Tiny Epic Kingdoms (see our review here) and Tiny Epic Defenders (our review is coming!). And just like Kingdoms and Defenders, Galaxies is not just a re-theming/re-skinning of one basic game. Kingdoms is a 4X game, Defenders is a co-op, and Galaxies is.... a dice roller! Let's take a look!
Ok.... Maybe today it's more like Kickstarter Monthly... But let's put all that behind us and look at all the awesome Kickstarters that are happening right now as we speak!!!
oddball Aeronauts 2: Double the Trouble - Maverick Muse Games
This expansion of the original oddball Aeronauts brings two new factions into this battle of dirigibles. oddball Aeronauts 2 acts not only as an expansion, but as a stand alone version of the base game. The biggest, newest feature of the expansion is that you can now play 3 and 4 player games in two new variations of the game -both are pretty fun. We'll be reviewing this title momentarily and you can read our preview of the original game here.
